Oakdale Flag Day Celebration
Dedham Public Schools asked if I’d be interested in taking pictures of the Flag Day assembly at Oakdlae School. When I was a kid this kind of patriotic display was more commonplace. I had forgotten much of the history of the Stars and Stripes and learned a few things about the symbolism and rituals surrounding it.
